Whence They Came

In 1982, Dr Simon Lindstrom, an anthropologist finds he is treading much the same path as Charles Darwin, one hundred and fifty years earlier. His interest quickens when he discovers inaccuracies in the naturalist`s published works.  It prompts Lindstrom to dig deeper, and his dogged pursuit of the answers leads to dangerous consequences. Difficulties arise when Lindstrom and Margarita Ortega, a fellow anthropologist, are drawn to Tierra del Fuego in search of skeletal remains. He manages to flee the country just before the onset of the Falklands conflict. However, the information he passes to the British authorities about Argentina`s  military build-up makes him a marked man.
