Born into a family of hard working Irish-American contractors, Jack Mahoney [L.D. Galway], the middle child of four brothers, three step brothers and one sister, was fed a steady diet of classics by his mother and developed a love of reading and creating. Jack left his Midwestern hometown at an early age to see the world. After realizing how little could be seen from a submarine, he left the Navy and went to school at Arizona State where he studied literature and journalism. Jack immigrated to Northern Ireland in 2003 to marry and to write and has since released several books in nearly as many genres. His passions cross over from comedy to environmental issues as reflected in his characters which are always witty, entertaining, slightly flawed and unlikely defenders of the human race. Jack and his wife presently live in Belfast.
